ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare detailed production drawings for furniture using AutoCAD. - Model, detail, and assemble new product components in both 2D and 3D. - Engage in reverse engineering of various components and products. - Work independently and as part of a team to ensure project goals are met. - Seek and obtain information, clarification, and feedback regarding drawings, and discuss project challenges with the team. - Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure drawing specifications are accurate and meet design requirements. - Ensure that the design process is conducted in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) as part of the design process. - Modify and revise designs to correct any operating deficiencies or to address production issues. - Utilize SolidWorks for designing, with knowledge of SolidWorks being preferred. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED - Diploma / BE -Auto CAD 2D & 3D, Solid works PREFERED INDUSTRY -Furniture Industry -Lab Furniture industry
